Hi Rasmus Raises $50 Million from Updata Partners to Accelerate Its Mission

After growing to serve 1,000+ organizations in 90 countries without outside capital, Hi Rasmus will accelerate its next stage of growth while remaining founder-led and centered on helping care teams focus on the child in front of them

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 03, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hi Rasmus, an ABA-first clinical technology platform for behavioral health providers, today announced a strategic minority investment from Updata Partners, an experienced B2B software growth investor.

The partnership marks the next stage in Hi Rasmus’s mission to positively impact 1 million children and families navigating autism by equipping the practitioners, organizations, schools, and families closest to them with technology that helps make high-quality, evidence-based care more accessible, measurable, and scalable.

Hi Rasmus is currently onboarding two of the world’s largest ABA providers and serves more than 1,000 customer organizations across all 50 U.S. states and 90 countries. Since landing its first U.S. customers in 2021, Hi Rasmus has grown to support more than 19.6 million hours of client sessions annually — proof that software built from inside the experience of autism care can better serve the people delivering it.

But for Hi Rasmus, growth has never been the end goal.

“We were never trying to build a software company. Our aim has been to positively impact 1 million children and families navigating autism and give the organizations delivering those services superpowers,” said Nikolaj Hendriksen, Founder and CEO of Hi Rasmus. “We have proven that there is a better way to equip the people doing this incredibly important work. Updata gives us an experienced partner who can help us move faster, invest more deeply in innovation, and bring that impact to far more providers, schools, clinicians, families, and ultimately the children they serve, without losing the mission and culture that got us here.”

Today, the Hi Rasmus platform brings together clinical data collection, care delivery workflows, scheduling, outcomes reporting, and AI-supported tools in an ABA-first, multidisciplinary-flexible system. By reducing administrative burden and making meaningful clinical information more accessible, Hi Rasmus helps care teams spend more time delivering care while giving organizations greater visibility into the quality and outcomes of the services they provide.

The partnership with Updata will support continued investment in product innovation, AI, enterprise capabilities, integrations, and clinical outcomes and research. It will also help Hi Rasmus scale its team and infrastructure as the company works to bring its platform to more behavioral health organizations and schools serving children with autism.

“What impressed us about Hi Rasmus is the combination of extraordinary growth, a deeply mission-driven culture, and a clear vision for how technology can improve autism care,” said Braden Snyder, General Partner at Updata Partners. “The team has built a company with the potential to become a defining platform in this market while remaining relentlessly focused on impact. We’re excited to partner with Nikolaj and the team for this next chapter.”

As part of the strategic minority investment, Snyder will join Hi Rasmus’s Board of Directors.

With Hendriksen and the existing leadership at the helm, Hi Rasmus enters this next chapter from a position of strength. Founders retain majority ownership, and the mission-driven, customer-first product roadmap remains firmly in place – the same team, the same vision, and an even greater capacity to execute on it.
